This Privacy Policy explains how Driving Hours Log: Teen Driver ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the app.

1. Information We Process

The App is designed to store your driving log information locally on your device.

• Drive records such as start and end times, duration, distance, night hours, route points, weather selections, notes, and drive titles.
• Driving goals and permit-related information such as selected state, permit issue date, permit expiration date, and manually adjusted requirement values.
• App preferences such as onboarding status, notification preference, and distance unit.

2. Location Information

The App requests location access only so it can calculate distance and display your route while you are actively recording a drive.

• Location tracking starts only after you manually tap Start Drive.
• Location tracking stops when you end the drive.
• The App is not intended to automatically detect or automatically start drives in the background.

3. Notification Permission

If you allow notifications, the App may use that permission for optional reminders related to practice driving or permit progress. Notifications are optional and can be turned off.

4. Payments and RevenueCat

The App uses RevenueCat as a third-party service to manage in-app purchases and entitlement status. RevenueCat may process limited purchase-related data that is necessary to validate purchases and restore access. We do not process your credit card information directly.

Purchases are completed through Apple’s App Store billing system and are subject to Apple’s own privacy and payment terms.

5. Data Storage

Drive records and app settings are primarily stored locally on your device. If a future version of the App offers optional backup or sync features, those features may store data through Apple services that you choose to enable.

6. No Custom Backend

At the time of this policy, Driving Hours Log: Teen Driver does not use a custom backend to store your driving history.

7. State Requirement Information Disclaimer

State driving-hour requirements, permit timelines, and related licensing rules may change. While we may provide reference information inside the App, we do not guarantee that any state-specific requirement data is complete, current, or legally accurate. You are solely responsible for verifying the latest official requirements with the appropriate state licensing authority before relying on the App for legal, licensing, or compliance purposes.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. The App may share limited data only with service providers that are necessary to operate specific features, such as RevenueCat for purchase management and Apple services for platform-level functionality.

9. Children and Teen Drivers

The App is intended as a utility for student drivers and their households. Users should review local laws and parental guidance requirements where applicable.

10. Your Choices

• You may choose whether to allow location access.
• You may choose whether to allow notifications.
• You may delete your saved drive records from inside the App.
• You may remove the App from your device at any time.
